At QuinPlay we take your privacy seriously. This Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over your personal information. It applies to all users of playquin.com and the QuinPlay application.
1 Data We Collect
📋 Data you provide to us
- ▸Email address: to create your account, send you important notifications, and recover your password.
- ▸Username: your public identity within the platform.
- ▸Password: stored in encrypted form (hash). We never have access to your password in plain text.
🔔 Automatically generated data
- ▸FCM Token: a technical identifier generated by Firebase Cloud Messaging that we use to send you push notifications about your pools and matches. It contains no personally identifiable information. You can revoke this permission at any time from your browser or device settings.
- ▸Usage data: predictions made, pools created or joined, points accumulated, general platform activity.
- ▸Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited. Collected anonymously through Google Analytics 4.
Coming soon: you will be able to optionally add a profile photo. When this feature becomes available, we will update this policy.
2 How We Use Your Data
- ▸Operate the service: manage your account, pools, predictions, and rankings.
- ▸Notifications: inform you about match kick-offs, results, pool updates, and platform news (only if you granted permission).
- ▸Security: detect and prevent unauthorized access, fraud, and abuse.
- ▸Product improvement: analyze usage behavior anonymously to enhance the experience.
- ▸Communication: respond to your inquiries and send you important service notices.
3 Sharing Data with Third Parties
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share information with third parties in the following cases:

Firebase (Google)
For the push notification service (FCM). Only the technical token is shared, with no personally identifiable data.
Infrastructure providers
Hosting and database services. They are contractually obligated to protect your data.
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights.
4 Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We take technical and organizational measures to protect it, including:
- ✓ Passwords encrypted with secure hashing algorithms.
- ✓ HTTPS/TLS connections across the entire site and application.
- ✓ Restricted access to production data.
We retain your data while your account is active or as long as necessary to operate the service. If you delete your account, your personal data will be erased within a maximum of 30 days, except for data we must retain for legal obligations.
5 Your Rights
You have the right to:
- ▸Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- ▸Rectification: correct inaccurate or outdated data.
- ▸Deletion: request that we delete your account and personal data.
- ▸Notifications: revoke push notification permission from your device or browser settings.
- ▸Portability: request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

7 Minors
QuinPlay is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not intentionally collect data from children under that age. If we detect that a child under 13 has registered, we will delete their account immediately. Users between 13 and 18 must have the consent of a parent or guardian.
8 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the date at the top of the document. For significant changes, we will notify registered users by email.
